The mission of the Gloucester Township Boys Basketball League (GTBBL) is to offer a quality basketball program for boys 7 to 18 years of age. It is the objective of this organization to provide a quality basketball program that offers players of various skill levels the opportunity to grow and develop to their full potential. It also will provide a safe non-hostile learning environment that stresses the spirit of sportsmanship and fair play.

     The league will also offer developmental programs that will help players wishing to play at the High School and Collegiate level. With the expansion of our Men's Summer Basketball League players can now play from 7 to 25 years of age. This will allow players the opportunity to participate in GTBBL basketball programs for up to 18 years. In addition the GTBBL will also provide the opportunity for Boys and Girls 7 to 17 years of age to participate in it's STARS SUMMER BASKETBALL CAMP.

     This Basketball Program places very high emphasis on the importance on the Academic development of it's players. The GTBBL will support the higher education of it's players through it's College Scholarship Fund which provides College Scholarship Awards for qualified players preparing to enter College and also a tutoring program. 

     The organization will also promote the importance of Community Involvement for it's membership through league activities and events such as it's  annual Night with the Philadelphia 76'ers, GTBBL March Madness, and it's Hoop Dreams Charity Carnival which benefits children and families in need. 

     In addition the GTBBL Charity Network was established to provide support to other Charity organizations such as the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Susan B Kohan Women's Fight against Breast Cancer, the Children for Children Book Drive for Cooper Hospital, and the Ronald McDonald House.  The GTBBL hopes to expand it charity efforts by inviting other Charity Organizations to join it's Charity Network in the near future.
